Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Arx-Prima platform is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and incorporates Level AAA features, including high-contrast visual focus indicators, bilingual bypass links ('Skip to Main Content'), full keyboard navigation pathways, and strict color-contrast ratios on all components.

Accessibility Features Built

Key accessibility features integrated into our platform include: - 'Skip to Content' bypass links enabling direct navigation to the main content layout. - Standardized, clear focus indicators (rings) on all interactive targets, links, buttons, and social media selectors. - Robust keyboard navigation paths, allowing full layout traversal and menu closures via the Escape key. - Optimized visual contrast ratios, guaranteeing that all text elements are readable on solid backgrounds at or above the 4.5:1 ratio (by keeping dimmed text at or above 50% opacity).
